蹤獲弝け Allison welcomes ChefTorial founder and CEO Rivers Corbett as first Entrepreneur-in-Residence
SACKVILLE, NB ChefTorial founder and CEO Rivers Corbett has been named the first Entrepreneur-in-Residence at 蹤獲弝け Allison University.
We are delighted to welcome Rivers Corbett, a 蹤獲弝け Allison graduate and outstanding Atlantic Canadian entrepreneur, as our Universitys first Entrepreneur-in-Residence, says Rebecca Leaman, interim Director of Experiential Learning and Career Development. His experience and expertise will be valuable in leading programs and workshops for budding student entrepreneurs and future innovators.
As 蹤獲弝け Allisons first Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Corbett will meet regularly with students, guiding them in business plan development and implementation of business and social enterprise ideas. He will also lead workshops and guest lectures for the wider student body.
To combine my love and journey of entrepreneurship with the 蹤獲弝け Allison community that holds so much in my heart, is a true blessing as part of the next stage of my career. Entrepreneurship fuels so much of the foundation that makes the world go around, says Corbett. I am looking forward to working with Mt.A students to help guide them in making impactful decisions in their journey as entrepreneurs.
Corbett will lead a virtual Fireside Chat event for students on Tuesday, October 19 at 6 p.m. Students can register (using MS Office forms).

With more than 20 years of experience, Rivers Corbett is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of ChefTorial (formerly The Chef Group). In this role, Corbett leads the successful talent agency providing chefs for private and corporate events including cooking classes in Sobeys and other retailers. He also founded Relish, a former iconic Atlantic Canada burger chain. He was named Frederictons Entrepreneur of the Year, one of Canadas Top Ten Mentors, and recognized in Profit Magazines Hottest Start-ups List.
Corbett is an active member of Headspace for Entrepreneurs, a community of global entrepreneurs, part of the podcast team at Canadas Podcast Canadas #1 podcast for entrepreneurs, as well as a member of Startup Canadas National Advisory Council. A previous Entrepreneur-in-Residence for both the Province of New Brunswick and UNB, Corbett is the author of The Bootstrappers Guide to Business Growth.
Corbett is a graduate of both 蹤獲弝け Allison and the University of New Brunswick.
The Entrepreneur-in-Residence, virtually housed in the Universitys Office of Experiential Learning and Career Development, is part of Venture Space MtA Entrepreneurial Thinking Incubator, a new online initiative for entrepreneurial-minded students to access training modules, funding opportunities. The project is supported by TD Ready Commitment.
